This Luxury villa with pool is located in the countryside on a little hillock overlooking the bay of Gallipoli. Renovated keeping the architectonic characteristics of the original building, while being contemporary in its décor, it consists of one main unit, built around the ancient XVI cent. tower (that in previous time was instead the residence of a community of Basilian monks); and of 4 annexes, which were probably used as storage in the past, now turned into 4 independent suites.
INSIDE
Ground floor of the main unit: spacious living area with fireplace, giving access to a TV snug, a reading room, then to the breakfast area and the fully-equipped kitchen, and to 2 service shower rooms; a French door allows to get out onto the courtyard equipped with table for al fresco dining, and where a staircase departs leading up to the roof-top terrace.
THE SUITE
All bedrooms are suites. Each is provided with 2 Full HD Led TVs; the bedding is in linen and some cashmere blankets are also provided over the winter months; all rooms have air conditioning. All suites consist of at least 2 rooms (plus the bathroom), with cozy relax corners with sofa-beds. They also all have a minibar and a kettle. All bathrooms are spacious, with cosmetic kit provided.
Suite Chapiteaux: on the ground floor of the main unit and accessible also from the outside courtyard, it is composed of a living room with kitchen corner, bathroom with bath-tub and separated shower, mezzanine double/twin bedroom. It can host up to 4 people.
Suite Chandelier: on the upper floor of the main unit, it consists of a living room, a double/twin bedroom and a shower-room; the windows offer a nice view onto the garden and the pool area. It can host up to 2 people.
Suite Pomme: on the upper floor of the main unit, it has a small living area where a French window allows exit onto a private terrace, and from there one can also go up to the roof-top terrace; a double/twin bedroom, a shower-room. It can host up to 2 people.
Suites Apollo, Corallo, Meditea and Frises: in the annex located in front of the pool area, each measures around 50 sq.mt., consisting of a relax corner with sofa-bed, a double/twin bedroom and a shower-room. Each can host up to 3 people.
OUTSIDE
There is a vast garden, encompassing the main body, the annexes and the pool. The property’s grounds also include an olive grove where there are also some typical stone quarries, and an ancient trullo still in good conditions.
From the rooftop terrace of the main unit one can enjoy a stunning view on both sides: over the olive trees and the countryside, and on the other side off towards the sea of the Gallipoli bay with its unforgettable sunsets.
